Aaah i've been dying to do a disney cosplay forever, and atlantis is one of my all time favorite movies! so it was just meant to be. this costume was surprisingly comfortable (but very cold) and not TOO difficult to make. I really enjoyed it - even if I did get told to either change or leave only 5 minutes in to the convention. Pffft.

If "Atlantis: The Lost Empire" is your favorite cartoon, you have to remember that Kida doesn't have any shoes. It's not a big deal to walk barefoot on the carpet and play your favorite character well.

Youmacon. I think it has to do with the locatrion, its attached to a corporate headquarters for an insurance company. It was building security, not convention security

Well, that was rather rude of them. But rules are rules I suppose. Although one would think that there wouldn't be a convention attached to a corporate headquarters for insurance. I've seen plenty of outfits like that at conventions and the Texas Renaissance Festival and there was never anything wrong with them.
